One out every 68 children are identified with autism. Joey is one of those statistics. His condition forced him into a non affectionate world. He prefered to be alone and do things by himself.

Joey asked his mom for a dog. Destiny led them to a nearby animal shelter, where Roxy was up for adoption, and it was “love at first sight” says Joey’s mother. She never liked pit bulls and considered them dangerous and horrible animals.

But this match changed Joeys life, his attitude with his family and even Roxy who had a stigma of her own.
