Oregon City’s New Hero Is A Pit Bull
Little Jesse, an 8-year-old boy, was dragged away from a swarm of angered bees by his family dog, Hades. The boy was playing in a wooded area close to home, when he and 10 other neighborhood children accidentally aroused an unseen bee hive.
His sister was stung at least five times and Jesse twenty-four times. Unable to get back on his feet to run away from an imminent death, Hades, his Pit Bull companion dragged him to safety.
After receiving medical attention, both Jesse, his sister and are back home thanks to the heroic act performed by a dog, who many people have stereotyped as a dangerous breed.
