The Leigh Family actually love it when it happens…
Kristin Leigh Rhynehart, a loving mom living in Raleigh, North Carolina looked all over the house for her 10 year-old rescue dog companion “Raven”. Raven was nowhere to be found. Kristin finally decided to look in her baby daughter’s room and what you see in this picture is what she discovered – Addison her toddler and Raven, cuddled up in the baby’s crib.
Just as Kristin decided to give Raven a new life and watch over him ten years back, Raven too decided to watch over Addison, his guardian sister, and in some measure return the kindness of his adoptive family. And what better proof of this than the two of them tucked under the covers profoundly asleep?
Being kind to animals and caring for them is a true asset to your home. Discovering the profound love dogs possess is one of life valued gifts. Have you ever received this kind of gift before?
“People that say ‘money can’t buy happiness’ have never paid an adoption fee. 10 years ago I left a rescue with this little guy and I often wonder…who rescued who? I gave him a home, but he gave me so, so much more.
RESCUED” is my favorite breed! Dogs have a way of finding the people that need them…filling an emptiness we didn’t even know we had…” – Kristin Leigh
This short video footage shows the exact moment when Kristin walks into Addison’s room and finally finds Raven tucked away. Very touching scene. How nice it would be if you shared this with others.
